A masterclass in layering and depth. In this artwork from the Emotional Brutalist series, I explore the concept of the 'Palimpsest' the urban wall that has been painted over, tagged, and painted again.
While the base screams with vibrant neon pinks, electric blues, and warning oranges, the final layer of sweeping white and grey strokes acts as a veil. It softens the aggression of the black structural lines, creating a ghost-like effect where the color glows from within. It is a visual struggle between noise and silence, chaos and peace.
